Terms
- Effective 19 October 2026
01. These terms
These terms apply when you use this website or a Lodge workspace. By using either, you agree to them. If you use Lodge for a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to.
Where your company has a separate written agreement or order with us, that agreement wins wherever the two differ.
02. Accounts
A company’s administrators decide who has an account in its workspace. Keep the email account or Google account you sign in with secure: whoever can open its mail can sign in as you. Tell your administrator, or us, straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
03. Pilot and trials
Lodge is in a pilot. Features will change, some will be added and a few may be removed; we tell administrators ahead of any change that affects them. A trial is free unless we agree otherwise in writing, and either side can end it at any time.
04. Fees
There is no public price list during the pilot. Fees, if any, are the ones agreed in writing with your company, and nothing is charged without that agreement.
05. Your company’s information
What a company puts into its workspace belongs to the company. It allows us to store and process that information only to run, secure and support Lodge for it, as the Privacy page describes.
A company can export its information at any time (tasks and their history as files, and tasks, projects, people, events and contacts through the API; anything else we export for it on request), and keeps that right for 30 days after it stops using Lodge.
06. Acceptable use
Don’t use Lodge to:
- break the law, or store or send material you have no right to;
- send spam or harass anyone;
- test, probe or get around Lodge’s security, or reach information you were not given access to;
- overload the service, or scrape it beyond what the API and its limits allow;
- copy or resell Lodge, or build a competing product from it.
Security researchers who find a problem: write to hello@joinlodge.app before doing anything else, and we will work with you.
07. Connected services
Lodge can work with services run by others: Google sign-in and calendars, calendars added by link, and AI assistants members connect themselves. Using them is your company’s or your choice, their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for how they work or what they do with what they receive.
08. What stays ours
Lodge’s software, design and name belong to us. Using Lodge gives you the right to use it for your company’s work while these terms apply, nothing more. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
09. Availability and support
We work to keep Lodge running and to fix problems quickly, and every pilot company has a direct line to the person who builds it. Unless your company’s agreement promises a level of availability, we don’t guarantee that Lodge will always be available or free of errors.
10. Suspension and ending
Your company can stop using Lodge at any time. We can suspend an account or a workspace to stop a security threat or a serious breach of these terms, and we will tell the company why unless the law prevents it. We can end the service for a company with 30 days’ written notice. Either way, the 30-day export window above applies.
11. Warranties and liability
Except where your company’s agreement says otherwise, Lodge is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, and our total liability for any claim about Lodge is limited to what your company paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if it paid nothing.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. We post the new version here with a new date and tell administrators by email at least 30 days before a change that reduces their rights takes effect.
